2026 ASIA HOSPITALITY AWARDS: “INFLUENTIAL ASIA” SHOWCASES TRAILBLAZERS LEADING INDUSTRY EVOLUTION

Building on the success of its inaugural year, AHA 2026 unfolds under the theme Influential Asia, highlighting the region’s growing global presence through excellence, innovation, and visionary leadership. More than an awards program, AHA serves as a platform that not only recognizes achievement but also elevates the voices shaping the future of hospitality.
This year’s awards honor individuals and organizations across diverse segments - from heritage resorts and boutique hotels to sustainable retreats and culinary innovators - reflecting a dynamic convergence of tradition and progress.
The 2026 edition attracted over 600 registered accounts and 398 project submissions. Following a rigorous evaluation process, 116 projects were shortlisted, with 40 winners ultimately named as official laureates. This strong level of participation underscores both the credibility of AHA and the rising standards within Asia’s hospitality landscape.
Entries were assessed through a comprehensive framework, evaluating strategic vision, innovation, cultural depth, guest experience, operational excellence, and long-term community impact. Over two months of judging, the selected winners distinguished themselves through their ability to integrate design, brand identity, and local context - demonstrating that modern hospitality is increasingly defined by immersive and meaningful experiences.
Reflecting broader industry shifts, the 2026 winners exemplify how hospitality in Asia is evolving into a catalyst for cultural exchange, sustainability, and economic growth. Under the banner of Influential Asia, they showcase a distinctive approach grounded in authenticity, precision, and storytelling - positioning the region as an active force shaping the global hospitality landscape.
The climax of this year’s journey, the 2026 Winners’ Night, will take place on June 26 at the breathtaking Dragon Pearl Cave (Hang Ngọc Rồng), set within the iconic Ha Long Bay - a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its extraordinary natural formations. More than a ceremonial event, the awards night is conceived as an immersive experience - where spatial design, lighting, and curated performances transform the cave into a living stage. The program will feature the official presentation of the 2026 laureates, alongside networking opportunities that foster dialogue and collaboration among industry leaders.
As AHA enters its second year, it continues to evolve as a platform connecting recognition with influence. The 2026 winners set new benchmarks for creativity, sustainability, and experiential design, marking another significant milestone for the awards.
