HAUS Da Lat: Shaping a New Legacy for Da Lat Through Responsible Development

HAUS Da Lat is the flagship development of HAUS, a company founded on the belief that real estate should create lasting value not only for its residents and stakeholders, but also for the places and communities in which it exists. Located on a rare five-hectare site overlooking Xuan Huong Lake in the heart of Da Lat, HAUS Da Lat represents a long-term commitment to creating a new legacy for one of Vietnam’s most distinctive and culturally significant destinations.

From the outset, the project has been guided by a clear vision: to become a new heritage for Da Lat—one that respects the city’s architectural character, natural landscape, and cultural identity while contributing to its future evolution. Rather than pursuing short-term growth or high-density development, HAUS has adopted a patient and considered approach, seeking to create a destination that will remain relevant and meaningful for generations to come.

At the heart of HAUS’s philosophy is a simple yet powerful principle: “May the choices we make today not take away the choices of future generations.” This belief informs every aspect of the company’s decision-making and serves as the foundation of its commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. HAUS views sustainability not as a marketing initiative or regulatory requirement, but as a responsibility that must be integrated into every stage of development—from planning and design to construction, operations, and long-term stewardship.

This commitment is reflected in HAUS Da Lat’s development strategy, which prioritizes environmental preservation, resource efficiency, community well-being, and responsible governance. The project has been conceived to work in harmony with its surrounding landscape, protecting and enhancing the natural character that makes Da Lat unique. Every design decision is guided by the belief that development should enrich a place rather than compromise it.

One of the project’s most significant commitments has been the preservation of the existing pine forest across the five-hectare site. Rather than clearing the landscape to maximise development potential, HAUS deliberately adopted a lower-density approach, allowing nature to remain the defining element of the development. Extensive studies of the site’s ecology, topography, and vegetation informed the masterplan, ensuring that architecture responds sensitively to its natural setting. Mature pine trees have been retained wherever possible, while buildings and pathways are carefully integrated into the landscape to minimize environmental impact. This approach reflects HAUS’s conviction that the natural heritage of Da Lat is not a constraint to development, but an asset that deserves protection for future generations.

The project’s ESG ambitions are further reinforced through internationally recognised sustainability benchmarks, including its pursuit of BCA Green Mark Platinum certification. By adopting globally recognised standards for sustainable development, HAUS aims to demonstrate that environmental responsibility and luxury living can coexist, setting a new benchmark for future developments in Vietnam.

HAUS Da Lat offers a highly curated collection of only 68 Sky Mansions and Sky Villas, making it one of the most exclusive residential offerings in the country. These residences are complemented by a carefully integrated ecosystem of hospitality, wellness, cultural, and lifestyle experiences designed to foster meaningful connections between people, nature, and place. Rather than maximising the number of units, the project prioritises space, privacy, quality, and long-term liveability.

What distinguishes HAUS Da Lat is its holistic approach to development. The project is not conceived as a conventional real estate venture, but as a place-making initiative where architecture, landscape, wellness, culture, and sustainability come together to create a coherent living environment. Every component of the development has been carefully considered to contribute to a broader vision of responsible luxury and enduring value.

This vision has been brought to life through collaborations with internationally recognised experts across architecture, design, wellness, hospitality, and sustainability. Together, these partnerships support HAUS’s ambition to deliver a destination that meets global standards while remaining deeply rooted in the character and spirit of Da Lat. From architecture inspired by the surrounding pine forest and natural light to wellness experiences designed around human well-being, every element has been curated to create a destination that reflects both international excellence and local identity.

As the flagship development of HAUS, HAUS Da Lat reflects the company’s aspiration to redefine how premium real estate is conceived and delivered in Vietnam. Rather than measuring success solely through sales performance or development scale, HAUS seeks to create projects that leave a positive and lasting legacy for future generations. Through thoughtful design, responsible stewardship, and an unwavering commitment to ESG principles, HAUS Da Lat is positioned not only as a landmark destination, but as a model for the future of sustainable development in the region.

Looking ahead, HAUS aspires to play a leading role in shaping a new generation of developments that place long-term environmental responsibility, cultural preservation, and human well-being at the centre of decision-making. Through HAUS Da Lat, the company aims to demonstrate that the most valuable developments are those that enhance the places they inhabit, strengthen the communities they serve, and remain relevant for generations to come. By preserving the pine forest, respecting the identity of Da Lat, and embracing globally recognized sustainability standards, HAUS Da Lat seeks to establish itself not simply as a luxury development, but as a new heritage for the city and an enduring legacy for Vietnam.
