The Seoul Robot & AI Museum (RAIM) is a bold cultural landmark that invites visitors to explore the evolving world of technology. International competition winning RAIM designed by MAA-MELIKE ALTINISIK ARCHITECTS and realized in collaboration between MAA and WITHWORKS Architects & Engineers from 2019 to 2024. Its futuristic, spherical form and fluid interiors reflect the limitless potential of AI and robotics, making the museum feel alive with movement and meaning.
Far beyond a typical museum, RAIM embodies the spirit of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Guests are welcomed by robotic hosts and guided through an immersive vertical journey tracing the evolution of AI. Inside, collaborative spaces, educational labs, and public zones foster dialogue between the public, academia, and tech innovators.
Built with cutting-edge methods like digital fabrication, off-site construction, and parametric design, RAIM is both a technological and architectural feat. Sustainable systems and inclusive design reinforce its civic responsibility, while interactive lighting and narrative-driven spaces elevate the visitor experience.
As a fusion of innovation, education, and sustainability, RAIM stands as a powerful symbol of Seoul’s vision for the future.
