The Seolhaeone Clubhouse renovation is a visionary example of commercial architecture that seamlessly integrates form, function, and future growth. Designed by JOHO Architecture, this project transcends a typical remodeling by reimagining circulation, management, and guest experience for the entire complex. Every intervention, from vertical expansions to new restaurant terraces and thoughtful circulation paths, reflects an innovative response to operational challenges while anticipating long-term development.
A standout feature is its poetic interplay of light and structure. The cantilevered canopy and wooden corridor act as dynamic connectors, linking the clubhouse to the surrounding Seolhae Hot Springs and golf-tel facilities. Beyond mere utility, these elements craft a distinct identity rooted in tradition and modernity. The clever use of materials - warm wood, white marble, and raw concrete - enhances this spatial narrative, creating a rich visual language that harmonizes with the region's landscape.
More than an elegant structure, Seolhaeone Clubhouse is a forward-thinking blueprint for commercial architecture in Asia. Its design integrates environmental sensitivity with operational excellence, using natural light, durable materials, and cultural motifs to enrich the visitor experience.
