The Macau LRT Seac Pai Van (SPV) Line is a landmark in sustainable, community-focused transport design. Created by Arup and its multidisciplinary teams, the line links the Coloane residential district with Macau’s existing LRT network, easing congestion and supporting the city’s long-term green goals.

What sets the SPV Line apart is its emphasis on human experience. The two stations integrate natural ventilation and daylighting, reducing energy use while enhancing commuter comfort. Modular façades streamline construction and minimise waste, reinforcing its sustainable intent.

Beyond function, the SPV Line reflects Macau’s cultural identity through refined architectural details that blend heritage motifs with modern infrastructure. This is more than a transit project - it’s a thoughtful fusion of engineering, sustainability, and place-making.
