Karinox Coffee is an example of architecture that seamlessly merges local cultural heritage with sustainable design. 

 

Situated in Phan Rang, Ninh Thuan - a region known for its strong winds and Cham traditions - Karinox celebrates its surroundings by transforming these elements into architectural features. Its distinctive facade, built from Bau Truc ceramic tiles, reflects the traditional flame-altered pottery of the Cham people, while its interior design pays homage to Cham towers and historical landmarks, creating an immersive cultural experience.

 

What sets Karinox apart is its ingenious fusion of art and sustainability. The dynamic structure mimics the movement of the wind, creating ever-changing visual perspectives. Meanwhile, a double-layer exterior wall and strategically placed air intakes minimize heat gain and reduce energy consumption. The four-storey design accommodates diverse spaces - from cozy cafés and offices to playgrounds and cultural exhibitions - offering a multifunctional environment that caters to both locals and visitors.

 

Karinox Coffee is truly an architectural and cultural destination. Its thoughtful preservation of Cham identity, attention to environmental responsibility, and ability to enhance the local economy make it an extraordinary contribution to contemporary F&B architecture in Asia.
