Located in the heart of Astana, SHATE Restaurant is where heritage and innovation come together, and where design becomes a medium for storytelling. Inspired by the Kazakh word shattyk, meaning “joy,” the restaurant blends Eastern richness with European elegance through handcrafted walls, deep blue hues, and velvet textures. Every detail – from custom partitions to hand-cast plaster elements – is crafted to create a sense of intimacy and creativity.

SHATE is more than a dining destination; it is a cultural hub. With art collaborations, musical evenings, and secret gatherings, the space cultivates connection and creativity. Limited seating and seasonal menus offer guests a refined and exclusive experience while staying deeply rooted in local values. By partnering with local farmers, artisans, and small businesses, SHATE extends its impact beyond hospitality into the community.
