The Luxury House, designed by Pham Thanh Truyen Architect & Associates, redefines the concept of a retreat by seamlessly fusing nostalgia, nature, and sustainable innovation. 

 

Set amidst the tranquil rice fields of Quảng Ngãi, the project draws inspiration from the architect’s childhood, transforming personal memory into architectural language. The home’s most striking feature is its 2-meter “breathing skin” – a permeable buffer zone made of locally sourced brick and tile, allowing natural light and breezes to flow gently while regulating internal temperatures. This passive design drastically reduces reliance on mechanical systems, aligning with energy-conscious principles.

 

What sets The Luxury House apart is its rainbow canopy made of multicolored polycarbonate panels, filtering sunlight into playful hues that shift with the day—evoking the innocence and wonder of childhood. The structure’s layered roof, combining traditional thatch and modern materials, adds resilience while preserving cultural authenticity. Paired with a saltwater pool using local Sa Huynh salt and solar-assisted heating, the house exemplifies health-forward, eco-conscious hospitality.

 

Through its poetic form and high-performance function, The Luxury House becomes a space of emotional resonance and environmental harmony.
