2026 AADA WINNERS OFFICIALLY REVEALED: "INFLUENTIAL ASIA" SETS NEW GLOBAL STANDARDS
The Asia Architecture Design Awards (AADA) proudly announces the winners of its 2026 season - a landmark chapter that underscores the growing authority and transformative reach of Asian architecture in a global context.
Under the theme Influential Asia, this year’s awards sought to honor the projects and visionaries who are not just responding to change, but driving it. From sustainable urban solutions to cultural landmarks, the 2026 season highlights a continent that has become a primary source of inspiration and a trendsetter for the international design community.
Launched in August 2025 and closing for submissions in February 2026, this season saw an unprecedented level of engagement. The AADA digital platform recorded over 1,900 registered accounts, resulting in a staggering 853 project submissions from across the region. Spanning 6 disciplines and 30 award categories, the program showcased the immense depth of talent in Architecture, Interior, and Furniture design. Each entry served as a sophisticated response to the theme, proving that Asia’s influence is rooted in its ability to blend heritage with hyper-modernity. Categories such as Asia’s Best Architecture Design and 2026 Asia' Best Residential Interior Design emerged as the most contested, with a record number of high-caliber submissions that pushed the boundaries of spatial innovation.
Following an intensive evaluation by our international jury, 62 official winners have been crowned. These winners were chosen not only for their technical brilliance and aesthetic appeal but for their "Influential" character - their ability to serve as models of excellence that can be emulated far beyond Asia’s borders. Whether through revolutionary material use or socially-conscious spatial planning, these 62 awardees represent the vanguard of modern design.
The climax of this year’s journey, the 2026 AADA Winners’ Night, will be held on June 26 at the breathtaking Dragon Pearl Cave (Hang Ngọc Rồng) in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam. Set against the backdrop of a UNESCO World Heritage site, this prestigious gala will bring together the region's most influential architects and designers for an unforgettable night of celebration amidst one of nature’s greatest architectural wonders.
