Garden of Love Villa is conceived as an interior-driven residential environment that transforms the idea of a “garden of love” into a cohesive spatial experience for a multi-generational family. The project explores how interior architecture can foster emotional connection, shaping everyday life, memory, and relationships through carefully orchestrated space.

Inspired by the early 20th-century Italian Liberty style - the Italian interpretation of Art Nouveau enriched by Greco-Roman classical influences - the design reinterprets classical proportions, organic curves, and ornamental rhythms into a contemporary living environment suited to Vietnamese lifestyles and tropical conditions. Rather than applying decorative motifs superficially, these influences are embedded into the spatial layout, material palette, and transitions between rooms.

The villa unfolds through a sequence of layered interior experiences, where public and private spaces are connected by natural light, tactile materials, and harmonious proportions. Local identity is further expressed through handcrafted details, textures, and warm color palettes, creating a dialogue between Italian architectural language and Vietnamese cultural sensibility.

Approximately 80% of the exterior façade is constructed from handcrafted exposed red brick, a material deeply rooted in traditional Vietnamese architecture. Each brick was custom-made and hand-finished to achieve rich texture, depth, and timeless character, reinforcing the project’s vision of architecture, interior, and atmosphere as one unified living system.
